Santa Catalina Residence – Single Story Tropical Home

This single-story residence, located in Santa Catalina, was designed to take full advantage of Panama’s tropical climate and relaxed lifestyle. The layout prioritizes natural ventilation, shaded outdoor spaces, and a strong connection between interior and exterior living areas.

The design focuses on simplicity, functionality, and durability—key elements when building near the coast. Materials and construction systems were carefully selected to withstand humidity, sun exposure, and salt air, ensuring long-term performance with low maintenance.

Large openings, covered terraces, and an efficient floor plan allow the home to feel open, comfortable, and well integrated with its surroundings.

This project reflects my approach to residential design in Panama: creating homes that are not only visually appealing, but also practical, climate-responsive, and tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
